PatientPoint’s third-annual Upfront was an invite-only healthcare marketing event held in New York City focused on the power of point-of-care (POC) digital screens to drive patient action. The event brought together marketers, advertisers, pharmaceutical leaders, and industry partners to explore how messaging throughout medical office spaces can drive patients to take a more proactive role in their health.

Challenge:

PatientPoint needed to make a bold impression during New York City's packed Upfront week and position itself as a key player in the conversation around healthcare media. Finding the right venue was critical.

After an extensive search, Innovent secured The Town Hall and The Perch by Skylight in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The Town Hall provided a sleek space overlooking Plaza33 perfect for General Session, while The Perch offered a stunning 31st-floor setting for networking and entertainment with panoramic views of the iconic NYC skyline. Interest in the event exceeded expectations, with registrations reaching capacity and a waiting list forming in the weeks leading up to the event. On show day, the venue was packed with attendees eager to hear PatientPoint's message centered around this year's theme: The BIG Screen.

As Innovent partners with PatientPoint on future events in their Innovation Center, the foundation of this event’s reimagined experiences and flows continues to be a strong starting point.

PatientPoint’s 2026 Upfront focused on the screens that matter most in healthcare. Sessions explored topics including colorectal and breast cancer screening awareness, expanding health screenings at scale, rethinking wait time as an engagement opportunity, and using point-of-care screens to support brand growth and patient action.

The event featured notable speakers Katie Couric and Olivia Munn, who shared personal perspectives on early cancer detection, advocacy, and the importance of reaching patients with relevant health information when they are most engaged.

The day concluded with a rooftop reception at The Perch featuring a live performance by a Grammy award-winning artist, creating opportunities for attendees to celebrate and continue conversations in a memorable setting.

Outcome + Impact

The combination of a standout venue, sold-out audience, strong content in a seamless production, and high-profile speakers and entertainment helped PatientPoint establish a bigger presence during Upfront week–and set the stage for what’s to come next.
